FOLDING MOUNTAIN

Starting west of Folding Mountain Resort on Highway 16, the trail ascends steeply through forested terrain, levels off at a sub-alpine meadow, and culminates in a steep scree section leading to the summit, providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Hikers should be prepared for steep sections, technical scrambling, and the absence of water sources along the trail, while the opportunity for a ridge connection to Fiddle Peak adds an extra dimension to the adventure.
