NATURAL RESOURCES INTERPRETIVE PARK

The Natural Resources Interpretive Park is located on the west end of Hinton next to the Canadian Tire.

Built in 2000 as part of the town’s millennium celebrations, the park introduces you to the various aspects of natural-resource management in a town like Hinton. Throughout the interpretive trail you’ll see signs explaining elements like forestry, water management, biodiversity, fire control and mining reclamation. Don’t miss the fire lookout tower, and the 154-t mining truck located in the park.
